Do you love getting Asian food takeout? Have you ever wondered if you could recreate your favorite Asian dishes? Look no further. Here are 5 Asian recipes that will transport your tastebuds.

1. Orange Chicken
Whenever I go to Panda Express I always request double orange chicken. I'm addicted. I love orange chicken and I have always wanted to make it myself, but have it taste like takeout. This recipe by The Woks of Life is amazing and can be made in less than 10 steps. Though there are some interesting ingredients in this recipe, it tastes amazing and is totally worth the work.

2. Chicken Chow Mein
One thing that you need to know about me is that I LOVE NOODLES. Chicken Chow Mein is one of my main go-to dishes when I eat Chinese takeout. I have tried many chicken chow mein recipes and none of them taste just right. Until now. This Chicken Chow Mein recipe by Tiffy Cooks is AMAZING. It's so easy and tastes absolutely delicious. It's quick, easy, and has easy-to-find ingredients. Eat this as a side dish or as a meal alone. Either way, you won't regret trying it.
3. Pad Thai
I had about a month where I ate Pad Thai at least once a week. I was addicted. I guess I should say that I am still addicted, but I don't eat Pad Thai nearly as much as I did. Now that I have this recipe from Jessica Gavin, I think my addiction will really kick back up. I haven't made this recipe, but it looks to be very easy and very very good. Once I make the recipe I will update this article and let you all know how it went.
4. Hot and Sour Soup
Whenever I am feeling under the weather, I always request hot and sour soup. I don't know if it's because of the warm soup that makes me feel better, or the comforting memory of my grandpa getting hot and sour soup at every Chinese restaurant we went

to. That man loved hot and sour soup more than anything. I found this recipe from The Woks of Life and it is amazing hot and sour soup. The ingredients in this recipe are a little weird and you'll need to go to an Asian market to find a lot of the ingredients. If you don't have an Asian market, hop online and you should have no problems finding the ingredients.
5. Japanese Omurice

This isn't really considered a takeout food item, but it is super easy to make at home and it is one of my biggest comfort meals. I lived in Japan for a year and a half and often made omurice. Once I came back to the States, it was one of the first dishes I made for my family. You may think that it is a weird concept (ketchup fried rice??), but trust me. You'll love it! Check out this recipe that I posted. It includes easy step-by-step instructions on how to recreate this awesome Japanese dish.
Bottom Line
