THE Tressa Jamil

Today I want to introduce you to an up-and-comer in the food blog industry. This awesome girl just so happens to be my cousin, Tressa Jamil.

Who is Tressa?

Tressa is a wife and a mother of two beautiful kids. She has a kind soul and cares deeply for others. If you have a conversation with her, you will immediately want to become her friend. Though she's small in stature, her heart is huge and you can

definitely tell that in her demeanor. She's a hard worker and strives every day to be the best mother and wife. She works hard to provide for her family and is definitely an inspiration to me.

Jamil Ghar

My cousin, Tressa runs a blog called Jamil Ghar. The blog is focused on sharing unique, healthy, international recipes. Tressa comes up with the recipes, cooks the food, and also takes beautiful pictures of the cuisine that she creates.

Tressa didn't always know how to cook. As she grew up, she learned cooking skills from close friends and family. Tressa has many friends from diverse backgrounds and from them, has learned how to make food from their cultures. She values helping home cooks and beginners prepare healthy international food. Tressa loves cooking with her mother-in-law. Her mother-in-law makes excellent Pakistani and Indian recipes and gracefully allows Tressa to add her own twist to the recipes.

Recipes

Tressa has carefully designed her website to be user-friendly. She has a recipe box, recipe collections, kitchen tips, and other articles to ensure that people can find exactly what they are looking for. Tressa's garam masala was featured in an article by Cornell University and her Moroccan meatballs were the inspiration for a recipe for 12 tomatoes.

The Bottom Line
